Show Me MoreThe robes are indeed metallic! I love how it catches the light. This is a very tricky puzzle, and the pieces fit a little loosely, so it's easy to make mistakes as you go. Each piece is a little domed from the cutting, so when I was ready to glue, I first used a rolling pin and really squished it down. I'd highly recommend that, it makes for a much more unified look when hanging.
I loved this one....such beauty. This brand, same issues with pieces fitting in multiple places.
This is a review of the copy of the puzzle we worked at my friends' house. I had to leave before we finished and so had to buy this one, which to date remains unopened. Really, you have to be prepared to do this puzzle. Set aside a table and a bunch of lesser work areas for several days. I've read some criticisms in other reviews of the quality of the puzzle pieces but the ones we were using were excellent. Well-defined and fiendishly varied. The colors are gorgeous, mesmerizing, an infinite metallic gamut that first enchants and then infuriates. This is a grown-up and beautiful puzzle.
This is a gorgeous puzzle. I hope I live long enough to complete it. I had great suggestions and help from your support staff which I recommend to anyone who needs help.
