Native Iowan Doug Knutson creates landscapes, still life, and wildlife paintings that are inspired by his Midwest upbringing. His commercial art career has led him to complete work for companies such as Burger King, Wal-Mart, Random House, and John Deere, from CD cases to children’s book covers to collectible tins and plates. As a freelance artist, he has returned to his love for nostalgia, antiques, and rural life.
