It is a cheap plastic puzzle - Made in China. Bought for my 17 year old grandson's birthday. Took it carefully out of the box, to see how difficult it is. Have been very careful not to damage or nick it, but could not put the 'bar' back in the slots. Afraid to put pressure in case it snaps. Called, and and was told cannot return 'open items'. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! The 5 star initial rating I gave, is a mistake. It is a cheap Chinese product!

Don't know how long it would take for our granddaughter to figure this out. I would text her clues as she was working on opening the pod. It will be a great way, though, for her to save money and keep away from her siblings!
I purchased this for my great nieces 18th birthday. She loved it and likes that she can use it for a money bank after! I filled it with her favorite candy, Reese's mini peanut butter cups and also put money bills inside. I gave her two clues each day and by the third day I made her clues easier and by that evening she finally got it! Her Dad, Mom and sister played along and they all had fun together but wouldn't tell her what it was after they figured it out! This is a gift that will keep giving whether she uses it for a bank or puts items in it to play with her family, there are many ideas that can make game playing fun using the puzzle pod!
